I've had my Acer Aspire Revo 3600 for about 6 months now, and so far it's been perfect - plays back 1080p content no probs (after installing CoreAVC + Media Player Classic) - the only problem I've had, was the recent NVIDIA driver breaking the sound over HDMI, which was a pain, but not the end of the world.
However, I'm thinking of upgrading the machine - I wanna replace the existing HDD, and increase the RAM to 4Gb (I know Windows won't be able to see all of it). However, before ordering the actual parts I thought I'd create a quick thread here, to check that I'm ordering the right things
For the HDD - I'm thinking of replacing the 160GB hdd with a 500 GB one - specifically this one:

I know it's not 7200rpm - I'm more interested in the increased space than the speed, as the stock hdd is 5400rpm, and well that's fast enough for me atm
Secondly - the RAM. I'm thinking of getting this:

Do both those options look OK? If not can anyone point me in the direction of more appropriate components?
Thanks in advance
